- IRVING – Country Place Living, a franchisor of assisted-living residences for seniors in rural America, is recognized in the May issue of Inc. magazine as a leading franchise opportunity in growing markets.
Inc. columnist Candee Wilde posed the question: “How do I find a promising franchise opportunity?” Wilde identified two franchise segments on the rise, concepts serving senior citizens and concepts focused on wireless communications. Country Place Living was listed among 10 franchise companies as “Candee’s Picks” for leading franchise opportunities in expanding markets.
“This is a wonderful affirmation on the national level for what we’re doing to serve seniors in suburban and rural towns in America,” said Cynthia Gartman, president and COO of Country Place Living. “The U.S. population is living longer, and many seniors want nothing more than to stay within their community. Country Place Living is giving them that opportunity in these communities.”
Founded in 2003, Country Place Living has redefined senior living in suburban and rural America with uniquely designed assisted-living residences that offer the best amenities and forward-thinking vision for a growing population. The company offers two concepts for franchising: Country Place Senior Living, an 18-apartment assisted living residence, and Country Place Home Plus, an 8-bedroom group home residence.
A member of the International Franchise Association (IFA), Country Place Living plans to expand to more than 400 locations nationwide. Country Place Living has corporate-owned locations throughout Kansas, has franchise locations being built in Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota and Texas, and is currently selling franchises in suburban and rural communities in most states.
