Rose Walker's Don Swaim Named to Prestigious Trial-Lawyer Group
Dallas -

DALLASDallas trial lawyer Don Swaim of Rose•Walker, L.L.P., has been named to the Texas chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, also known as ABOTA.

ABOTA is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected trial lawyer organizations.  Founded in 1957, the group’s mission is to preserve the jury trial system by promoting the highest ethical and technical standards among trial lawyers.  Membership is by invitation only and is limited to only those attorneys who have served as lead counsel in at least 20 cases tried to a jury verdict. Prospective members also must receive approval from 75 percent of their local chapter’s executive committee and general membership.

“This is a terrific honor for Don and for the firm as a whole,” says Martin Rose, founder of Rose•Walker.  “It’s just more proof that he’s the kind of trial lawyer that businesses want and need on their side, working with them on their toughest cases. We’re very proud of the honor and proud to work with him.”

A graduate of Baylor Law School, Mr. Swaim provides clients more than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer in a variety of legal matters, including wrongful death and personal injury claims involving allegations of products liability; aviation cases for commercial air carriers and pilots involved in aircraft accidents; and premises liability matters representing property owners and security companies in injury and death cases. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Swaim is just the latest Rose•Walker attorney to earn the ABOTA honor.  Martin Rose has been an ABOTA member for approximately 15 years.

Rose•Walker, L.L.P., is a premier trial law firm, focusing on complex civil litigation.  The firm represents businesses and individuals, and its many major courtroom victories have helped Rose•Walker earn a national reputation for excellence.
